Dee Mautino Park is named after DeVere “Dee” Mautino (1927 - 2018), Grass Valley’s first female Mayor. She was always a proponent of parks and she finally realized her dream of establishing a park on the lot on Alta Street in Grass Valley. After many years it came to fruition and bears her name.
