Description & Details
The Building Official is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operations of the City’s building division. The Building Official will perform all inspection, plan review, and enforcement functions. Currently the position will manage two consultant contracts that provide backup support for inspections and plan review. They will also ensure building, construction and remodeling activities meet appropriate codes, standards, and City ordinances. The City is seeking someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, who can build positive relationships with other city departments, community members, design professionals, and contractors.
