Hilary Hodge is a marketing professional, nonprofit leader, and an advocate for the arts. A member of the Music in the Mountains Chorus, Hilary was elected to City Council in 2018 and currently serves as the Mayor. She has worked for more than a decade as a marketing professional specializing in community outreach and public relations. Hilary has more than 20 years experience managing and leading nonprofit organizations having served in executive leadership roles since 2001.

As a member of the Rural Working Group for the California League of Cities, Hilary has worked closely with government and policy makers on bridging the digital divide for Rural California. She graduated from Emerge California’s prestigious leadership training program in 2017. Hilary Hodge has served on the Board of the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce and serves as the City Liaison to the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce. She graduated from UC Davis in 2004 with a Degree in English Literature.

When she is not behind the dais at City Hall, she enjoys performing in theater productions, working in her garden, and playing with her dogs.
