Downtown Grass Valley goes to the dogs on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM with the 11th Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Mob Parade, presented by PAWS’itive Pals Dog Training and the City of Grass Valley. What started in 2014 with just 14 pups has become one of Nevada County’s favorite traditions, drawing hundreds of dogs (and their humans) each year for a spooktacular afternoon of costumes, community, and fun.
The free, family-friendly event features a dog costume parade and contest, photo booths, local business specials, and—new this year—community-nominated judges. Organizers hope to see 1,000 dogs fill Mill Street Plaza, so bring your pup, your best costume, and your Halloween spirit for an unforgettable celebration.
