"Economic and Fiscal Conditions Study" Completed

An "Economic and Fiscal Conditions Study" that evaluates present and future market, fiscal and job-housing conditions for the City of Grass Valley and Western Nevada County has been completed. The study was prompted due to interest from the applicants of the Special Development Areas (SDA's) in changing their land use mix from what is shown in the 2020 General Plan. An addendum containing all comments and responses received during the review period should be submitted to Council for consideration in early 2006.

Expect further notice of public meetings and updates on the SDA's. The Study and information relating to the SDA's can be found on the City's website. For further information, contact the Planning Division at 274-4330.
