OPENING SOON -The Community Policing Neighborhood Resource Center office will open this summer at Ralph’s Grocery Store on Sutton Way. This office will create a place for Police Officers and volunteers to meet with citizens during specific designated daily hours. Also, this office will be utilized by the Officer assigned to the area to conduct follow up investigations and complete reports. Telephone access to the Grass Valley Police Department is available for citizens from this location when an officer is not present at the office. It was through community donations that this office became a reality and the City is very grateful for the support.

Colfax Avenue Infill Study Update |
A Grass Valley tradition which has been in place for 70 years has succumbed to technology and old age. High maintenance and upgrade costs plus non use have brought an end to the fire alarm pull boxes in the City. Once the alarm system is completely decommissioned, individuals will be able to purchase the alarm boxes for $175 with the proceeds designated to refurbish the old fire station on Race Street into a fire museum, as well as help restore the 1927 Seagraves. Contact Jean at 274-4370 to reserve an alarm box. |
