Cannon Rededication at Dow Alexander Park

A ceremony was held last October rededicating the Columbiad Cannon at Dow Alexander Park.

The local chapter of E Clampus Vitus helped sponsor this event along with the City.

Traffic Around the Post Office

Keith Sauers, Interim City Engineer.

The Grass Valley Post Office on E. Main St. will likely continue to be a magnet for traffic congestion. The City is exploring short and long term mitigations to address the issue. In the meantime, why not consider alternatives for your postal needs:
• Visit the Post Office at times that are normally not as busy.
• Park at any spot available instead of holding up traffic by waiting for a “prime” spot.
• Services are available at Post Offices in Cedar Ridge, Nevada City, SPD Markets, and at a variety of private mail service businesses.
• Most supermarkets sell stamps and have mail drop boxes. Buy stamps online at www.usps.com
