Section 9.24.010 Interference with radio, television reception.

    A.    No person shall operate within the city any machine, equipment, instrument, device or electrical apparatus, which needlessly and unnecessarily disturbs or interferes with radio or television reception when such interferences can be reasonably prevented by means of repairs, adjustments, the installation of corrective appliances or other practicable alterations at an expense not to exceed twenty-five dollars.
    B.    This section shall not be held or construed to embrace or cover the regulation of any transmitting, broadcasting or receiving instrument, apparatus or device used or useful in interstate commerce or the operation of which instrument, apparatus or device is licensed or authorized by or under the provisions of any Act of the Congress of the United States, or which is otherwise beyond the regulatory power of the city, or the operation of medical equipment used for taking x-ray pictures, examinations or treatments; provided, that such machines or apparatus used therefor, are properly equipped to avoid all unnecessary or reasonably preventable interference with radio and television reception, and are not negligently operated.
