Section 8.16.030 Definitions.

    A.    Whenever the word “jurisdiction” is used in the California Fire Code it means the city of Grass Valley, California.
    B.    Whenever the words “chief of the bureau of fire prevention” are used they shall be held to mean fire marshal or deputy fire marshal.
    C.    “Allowable combustible” means dry natural vegetation, grown on the premises.
    D.    “Disallowed combustible” means any solid or liquid nonvegetative waste or manufactured materials, including, but not limited to, petroleum wastes, demolition debris, tires, tar metal, rubber, synthetics, plastics, household garbage, rubbish, trash, processed/treated wood, metals, paper, cloth or cardboard products.
