    2.    No license or renewal of license shall be issued for any animal that exceeds a height of eighteen inches or a weight of one-hundred twenty-five pounds.
    3.    A current certificate from a licensed veterinarian attesting to the satisfactory health of the animal must be produced at the time of application for the license and any renewals thereof.
    B.    There shall be no more than two miniature pigs per residence.
    C.    Every person owning or having charge, care, custody or control of any miniature pig shall keep such miniature pig exclusively upon the property identified in the permit; provided, however, that such miniature pig may be off such premises if it is under the control of a competent person and restrained by a substantial chain or leash not exceeding six feet in length.
    D.    Notwithstanding subsection C of this section, it is unlawful for any person owning or having charge, care, custody or control of any miniature pig, whether or not restrained, to allow such animal to be in or upon any public street or grounds or area during any public sanctioned or permitted event such as, but not limited to, Cornish Christmas, the Draft Horse events, craft fairs, car shows, or other organized gatherings and events such as parades and sidewalk sales. This section shall not apply to miniature pigs which are participants in any such event. (Ord. 543 § 2, 1996)
