Upon satisfying the requirements of this chapter, the applicant for a driver's permit under this chapter shall be fingerprinted, and his record filed in the office of the police department; and thereupon a permit shall be issued, which shall be fixed in a conspicuous place in the taxicab so as to be seen from the passenger's compartment. Such permit shall set forth the name, address and telephone number of the owner of the taxicab. (Prior code § 10-76)
