In the event that the chief of police has reasonable cause to believe and does believe that any licensee under this chapter is violating any of the provisions of this chapter or any other law or ordinance relating to the activity for which the license is issued, he shall have the power to notify such licensee that the license and all identification cards issued pursuant to this chapter shall be suspended for such violation.
