Chapter 5.28 HANDBILLS AND CIRCULARS
Section 5.28.140 Penalty.
Whenever any act is prohibited by this chapter, or is made
or declared unlawful or an offense,
or the doing of an act is required or the failure to do an act is declared to be unlawful, the
violation shall be punished as an infraction as defined in Section 19C of the California Penal
Code; the punishment therefore shall not exceed the amount specified in Government Code
Section 36900 as then in effect. Every day a violation of any provision of this chapter continues
