All persons subject to billing pursuant to this chapter shall have a right to appeal to the chief of police within fifteen days of the date of receipt of the billing. The chief of police will review the bill for accuracy and, if the bill is found to be in error, there will be a correction or appropriate recision. The final bill shall then be transmitted to the director of financing for final processing and collection. (Ord. 446 § 1 (part), 1990: prior code § 8-86)
