Chapter 3.46 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION FEE
Section 3.46.080 Projects on the regional system.
The following transportation projects are those which, when
completed, will together mitigate
the traffic impacts of future growth throughout Western Nevada County. The project list is
subject to change and shall be annually reviewed and may be amended from time to time by the
NCTC with the consent of the city council by council resolution.

As set forth in Appendix A of the Nevada County Regional
Transportation Mitigation Fee
Report, project numbers 1-22 will be funded by fees collected from fee zones 2-8, project
numbers 23-26 will be funded by fees collected only from fee zone 8. The regional transportation
mitigation fees will provide forty seven percent of the funding for construction of the Dorsey
Drive Interchange.
The regional transportation mitigation fee shall be solely
used toward funding the engineering
and construction of, and purchasing right-of-way for, these regional system projects and any
other purpose consistent with this chapter. The fee may not be used for system maintenance.
NCTC shall annually establish priorities for the regional
system projects based on the criteria
set forth in the Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee Administrative Handbook which is
adopted by this reference and made a part of this chapter as though fully set forth herein. A copy
of the Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee Administrative Handbook shall be available for
public inspection during normal business hours in the office of the city clerk. (Ord. 591 (part),
