Chapter 15.48 UNIFORM SIGN CODE ADOPTED
Section 15.48.010 Adoption.
In order to provide minimum standards to safeguard life,
health, property and the public
welfare by regulating and controlling the design, quality of materials, construction, location,
electrification and maintenance of all signs and sign structures not located within a building, the
Uniform Sign Code, 1997 Edition, prepared and published by the International Conference of
Building Officials (ICBO), except as specifically repealed or amended by ordinance of the city of
Grass Valley, is adopted and made a part of this chapter by reference as though set forth in the
