In order to prescribe regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire, hazardous materials or explosion, that certain code known as the 2001 edition of the California Building Standards Code, known as the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 9 (California Fire Code), incorporating the Uniform Fire Code, 2000 edition, of the Western Fire Chief’ s Association, including all its Appendices and Appendix Standards thereof and the whole thereof, except as specifically repealed or amended by ordinance of the city of Grass Valley, is adopted and made a part of this code by reference as though set forth in the chapter at length.
