Tree removal permits shall remain valid for a period of one hundred eighty days from the date of issuance or date of final decision by a hearing body, if applicable. A thirty-day extension shall be automatically granted by the tree permit administrator if requested in writing before the expiration of the permit. Permits that have lapsed are void. Trees removed after a tree removal permit has expired shall be considered a violation of this chapter. (Ord. 646 § 2 (part), 2005)
