A.    Street name signs for existing city streets will be erected and maintained by the public works department.

    B.    Street name signs for new city streets shall be established by subdivisions and site improvements. The person doing the subdivision or improvements will supply and effect all street signs to city standards. The department of public works will maintain the signs.
