An enforcement officer shall have the authority to gain compliance with this code, including the power to issue a notice of violation (“NOV”) as described below, the power to inspect public and private property, the power to record a notice of violation against any property related to the violation, and the power to carry out the provisions of an abatement order. An enforcement officer may also issue an abatement order or impose any penalty permitted under this code or any other applicable law as described below. (Ord. 651 § 2 (part), 2005)
