The Engineering Department is responsible for planning and managing the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP), by preparing (or coordinating) engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents, and by inspecting and administrating construction contracts for CIP projects.

ALTA WATER TANKS PROJECT Description: Install Two One-Million-Gallon Steel Water Tanks and Retrofit the Gravity Filter Backwash Station Work in Progress Contractor: Mountain Cascade, Inc. Status: Construction is on schedule and is anticipated to be completed in December 2009
