The Personnel Commission is comprised of five (5) members who are not a part of City government.  Members serve terms of four (4) years.  A Chair is elected from the members each year by majority vote.  The Commission meets monthly to deal with issues concerning  the personnel merit system, its rules and regulations, and appeals by classified employees.  The Commission prepares classification plans, compensation plans and schedules examinations for classified jobs.  Members are compensated $35 for each meeting attended.

Meeting are held at 5:15 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month in the Mayor's Conference Room of City Hall.
