The Development Review Committee (DRC) will discuss the Dorsey Marketplace project next Tuesday, May 10, 2016, starting at 9:00 a.m., in the City Council Chambers. We will email an agenda and staff report to you by this Friday. This will be the first of several anticipated meetings with the DRC. The purpose of this first meeting is to provide the applicant with preliminary input on the proposed architecture, site plan, and landscape plan only. The DRC will not focus on the merits of the project or any of the land use policy issues which will ultimately be reviewed by the Planning Commission and decided on by the City Council. The goal of the meeting is to provide the applicant with comments on the design to ensure compatibility with the City’s Gold Country theme.
The City is in the early stages of completing the Environmental Impact Report. Therefore, the City is requesting any comments provided to the DRC next week focus on design issues only.
